I’m currently an ACD at Luckie & Co’s Birmingham, Alabama, office. At this time, I’m focusing on that work and not taking on any new clients outside of my 9 to 5. Exceptions will be considered if you’re in food, beverage, you’re one of my favorite bands, or it’s a book cover.
I like to help clients find and define their voice, whether it’s shouted along a noisy canning line or whispered in the aisles of a bookstore.
While currently focused on commercial clients, my work has elevated a broad spectrum of industries over the years. From hand-printed underground show posters to the facades of cultural landmarks, my designs became an indelible part of Baltimore’s visual landscape for two decades. Nationally and abroad, my work has appeared in branding, the New York Times, packaging, best-selling book and album covers, high-end wallcoverings, and more.
An intellectual and visceral charge is central to all of my concepts and executions.
For over 12 years, I jointly led the design studio Post Typography. We fostered a highly-collaborative environment where every team member was empowered to contribute at all levels. A studio profile in Comm Arts compared us to hardcore punk legends Minor Threat, which I’m very proud of. Though we were a small team, our impact on Baltimore was outsized.
In late 2019, I stepped back to an advisory role for Post Typo and I switched to working on my own. Several of the studio’s clients chose to stay with me, and I picked up new ones along the way. While freelancing for about 2 years I completed several notable projects solo or in partnership with other creatives and agencies for clients Baltimore and in Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, Washington DC, California, and the UK.
Since moving to Alabama in late 2021 I’ve entered the agency world. Since the beginning of 2024 I’ve been with Luckie & Co, the longest-running ad agency in Birmingham (est. 1953). I’m excited to work with everyone here and each day is an opportunity for collaboration, mentorship, learning, and growth with our clients who serve the Southeast and the nation.
I’m focusing on my new career path now, and am committed to protecting my time outside of the office. So while I occasionally take on a few freelance clients I have become extremely selective and say “No” far more than “Yes.” For more on this, see the Contact page.
The future is a collaboration—let’s work together.
