2SP Brewing Co.
2SP’s brand is rooted in Delaware County’s blue-collar legacy, but it’s not stuck in the past. Mid-century industrial graphics filter through a contemporary pop sensibility to make the brewery stand out in a crowded market.
In the tradition of classic beer mascots, brewmaster Bob Barrar got the icon treatment. The little Bob is a hardworking brand ambassador, taking every new situation and wardrobe change in stride.
A longshot collab became a best seller, organically earned 60 million social impressions in year one, and turned into a holiday tradition.
2SP aimed high when they asked the convenience store powerhouse Wawa if they wanted to collaborate on a beer—something Wawa had never done in their 50+ years. Lucky for everyone, they said yes.
The Canada Goose has been flying through Wawa stores for over 40 years and needed to play the starring role here. Since this beer was a winter release, the goose expanded to a flock flying south.
The cans for year two translated the rolling snowy hills of Pennsylvania into frosty waves for Tampa and a warm winter horizon for Richmond. Each label also folded in brand elements of the additional partner brewers.
A kinetic Christmas remix.
In 2020, the collaborators wanted to fully embrace the Christmas season. A wrapping paper-meets-snowflake motif made for another iconic can which translated smartly across digital and in-store applications.
