US Green Building Council
The USGBC created LEED, the most widely used green building program in the world and founded the Greenbuild Conference & Expo, the largest event committed to sustainable building. For many years, they came to Post Typography for a variety of projects from ad campaigns to designing LEED manuals to branding and infographics.
LEED V4
LEED Reference Guides cover the built environment from interior spaces to whole communities. For the V4 update, I conceived and art directed a cover design system that unifies wildly different scenarios via a one-point perspective looking into each. The title area is a blank slate for practitioners to envision their own project within.
The work book that works
Prior to the V4 redesign, we were tasked with helping USGBC promote the previous generation of guides to their two key audiences: the many professionals studying for certification and the contractors and architects who use the books as a reference on job sites.
New, pristine volumes were beat up, tagged, and bookmarked the way they would be when used by a professional. Callouts highlighted key content and the damage done to show that these are “The work book that works” (a headline I wrote).
Miscellany
A small selection from the many infographics, publications, logos, presentations, and other collateral I worked on for USGBC over the years at Post Typography.
